Nepal’s Scientist Prajal Pradhan received 210 million grant from Europe
Dr. Prajal Pradhan, a senior Nepali scientist from Germany’s Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, has received a grant of 1.5 million euros from Europe.
A grant of more than 210 million Nepali rupees has been provided to Pradhan by the European Research Council.
Pradhan received a grant to research on how to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in Nepal.
Pradhan, who studied agricultural engineering from Institute of Engineering Purwanchal Campus (Eastern Region Campus) in Dharan, studied higher levels in environmental management. Experienced in various research studies, Pradhan is a world-class expert on sustainable development goals.
