Despite Nepal setting a formidable target of 185 runs, the Netherlands showcased their prowess by successfully chasing down the total in 19.3 overs with six wickets in hand.
Michael Levitt emerged as a pivotal figure in the Netherlands’ triumph, delivering a stellar performance with a blistering half-century, amassing 54 runs from just 29 deliveries, featuring three sixes and six fours. Levitt, alongside Max O’Dowd, provided a solid start with an opening partnership of 83 runs.
Despite a valiant effort from Nepal’s Kushal Malla, who claimed two wickets in his opening over, the Netherlands maintained their momentum throughout the chase. Contributions from Vikramajit Singh and captain Scott Andrew Edwards further bolstered the Netherlands’ innings.
