Newly-appointed IGP Kunwar bids farewell to Outgoing IGP Singh on Friday
Outgoing Inspector General of Police of Nepal Police (IGP) Dhiraj Pratap Singh and other senior police officials were bidden farewell on Friday.
They were bid farewell amidst a special function organized at Nepal Police Headquarter.
Addressing the farewell ceremony, Singh expressed his sincere gratitude to the family of the Nepal Police and the newly appointed Inspector General of Police Basanta Bahadur Kunwar for organizing a grand farewell program when he was about to retire after a professional journey of three decades.
He also said that the newly appointed Inspector General of Police is a very professional, conscientious and visionary personality and expressed his belief that he will give the new heights to Nepal police during his tenure.
Singh along with nine other senior police officials retired from the service on Friday.
