NWPP Declines Vote of Confidence to Prime Minister Prachanda
13th Mar 2024
The Nepal Workers and Peasants Party (NWPP) has opted against extending a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, commonly known as ‘Prachanda’. The party’s Secretariat meeting, presided over by leader Narayanman Bijukchhe ‘Rohit’, concluded with the decision to abstain from endorsing Prime Minister Dahal.
Prem Suwal, party Secretary and lawmaker, conveyed this stance via a press release issued on Wednesday. The NWPP, although not a part of any government thus far, has been notably active in either supporting or opposing other parties based on their articulated policies and programs.
