Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Arrives in Nepal for Official Visit
Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, the Foreign Minister of Oman, arrived in Kathmandu today for a two-day official visit at the invitation of Nepal’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba.
Upon his arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, the Omani Foreign Minister was received by Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal.
During his visit, the two Foreign Ministers are set to hold a bilateral meeting to discuss various matters aimed at strengthening the ties between Nepal and Oman, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In addition to the bilateral talks, Minister Albusaidi will pay courtesy calls on President Ramchandra Paudel and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. The Omani Foreign Minister is scheduled to depart from Kathmandu on August 27.
