Our Party is Winning Hearts: Madhav Nepal

Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Socialist), Madhav Kumar Nepal, asserted Monday that his party is increasingly gaining the confidence of the public and challenging existing societal norms.

Speaking at a local program, he addressed the ongoing rumors about his potential appointment as the prime minister, stating, “The Communist Party has been winning the trust of the people. Some people are concerned that I might become the prime minister. Let them be worried.”

Chairman Nepal dismissed concerns over his personal political ambitions, emphasizing that his main priority remains the broader development of Nepal. “Woe to those who harbor such negative tendencies,” he remarked, signaling his disinterest in focusing solely on political office.
