Polling for the presidential election is currently ongoing in Pakistan, with former President Asif Ali Zardari and SIC-PTI candidate Mahmood Khan Achakzai contending for the prestigious post.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has participated in the electoral process by casting his vote in the parliamentary session today.
The PML-N has thrown its weight behind former President Asif Ali Zardari, signaling its support for his candidacy.
PTI Senator Ali Zafar has also exercised his voting right in this 14th presidential election.
Meanwhile, the PTI has endorsed Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party chief Mahmood Khan Achakzai as their preferred candidate, according to reports from DAWN.
