Parliament to Convene on May 7; Cricketers to Receive Rs. 6 Lakhs Each

The Government has announced its decision to request President Ram Chandra Paudel to call a parliamentary session on Sunday, May 7. The Communication and Information Technology Minister’s Secretariat conveyed that this decision was made during a cabinet meeting held this morning.

Additionally, the cabinet meeting has decided to award a sum of Rs. 6 lakhs to each member of the Nepali National Team that emerged victorious in the ACC Premier Cup, along with a reward of Rs. 3 lakhs each to the other officials associated with the team for their promotions.

Furthermore, the meeting has approved a budget for the upgrading of the TU International Cricket Ground to meet international standards.
