Pilot and Four Chinese Nationals Killed in Air Dynasty Helicopter Crash (Passenger Manifest)
Five people, including the pilot and four Chinese nationals, were killed when an Air Dynasty helicopter crashed in Shivpuri Rural Municipality, Nuwakot.
The helicopter, registration number 9N-AJD, had taken off from Kathmandu Airport at 1:54 PM local time, heading for Syafrubeshi in the Rasuwa district. It lost contact with Kathmandu Tower just three minutes into the flight, and the crash site was later identified as Suryachaur in Shivpuri Rural Municipality, Ward No. 7.
DIG Bishnu Kumar KC, Chief of Bagmati Police Office, confirmed that the bodies of all five individuals onboard, including the captain, have been recovered. The pilot has been identified as Arun Malla. The identities of the four Chinese nationals have not yet been released.

Rescue operations were promptly initiated, with a Prabhu Helicopter Company helicopter dispatched to the crash site. The Nepal Civil Aviation Authority’s Search and Rescue Coordination Center is overseeing the efforts to recover and investigate the incident.
Further details about the cause of the crash are yet to be determined, and authorities are working to provide more information as the investigation progresses.
