PM Dahal Emphasizes Timely Completion of Sunsari Marin Diversion Project

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has underscored the importance of timely completion of the Sunsari Marin Diversion Multipurpose Project during his visit to the site in Sunkoshi rural municipality. He directed officials to address any potential issues promptly and ensure that the project meets its deadlines.

While monitoring the project, the Prime Minister instructed the project leaders to be proactive in foreseeing challenges and devising effective solutions. “The scope of work in a multipurpose project is vast and challenging; be prepared with proactive thinking and an action plan,” PM Dahal advised.

He emphasized the importance of strategic planning, including both incentives and penalties for the project workforce, to motivate timely and quality results. The Prime Minister also stressed the significance of completing key components such as the barrage, powerhouse, transmission lines, and associated social development works as per the established action and procurement plans.

Reassuring continuous government support, PM Dahal declared there would be no financial constraints, describing the project as a transformative venture of national pride. “The government will provide full support for the construction of this pivotal project,” he stated, ensuring that investment returns are realized on schedule.
