PM Dahal Extends Best Wishes to Nepali Cricketers
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has extended his best wishes to the Nepali cricket players for their excellent performance in the ICC T20 World Cup currently taking place in the United States.
In a press note issued today, PM Dahal expressed his belief that the World Cup would further enhance Nepal’s international identity. He conveyed his confidence that the Nepali team would achieve a historic victory in the tournament.
PM Dahal highlighted the significant decisions taken by the governments he has led to develop sports and encourage athletes in Nepal. He noted that the country, known for Sagarmatha (Mount Everest) and the Buddha, is now gaining recognition as a nation of cricket players.
“Nepali team is playing the ICC T20 World Cup after a decade. It is a matter of glory. It has drawn global attention towards Nepal. I thank the Nepali cricket team for its untiring efforts and struggle for success,” PM Dahal reiterated.
