PM Modi’s Leadership Transforms India into a Strong and Powerful Nation, Says India’s Defence Minister

In a significant declaration, India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh asserted that the once prevailing perception of India as a weak nation has undergone a radical transformation over the past nine years, attributing this shift to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking at the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ in his parliamentary constituency, Singh highlighted the newfound global recognition of India as a “strong and powerful” country.

Gone are the days when India was considered weak on the international stage, according to the Defence Minister. He emphatically credited Prime Minister Modi for this shift, stating, “Now no one considers India as weak. We are now seen as a strong and powerful country. The credit for this goes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.” Singh further emphasized that when a nation and its citizens are strong, no external power can dare to challenge or provoke them.

Singh noted a historic development in India’s governance, highlighting that for the first time post-independence, a government is actively reaching out to the people to ensure they benefit from various welfare schemes. He underlined the Prime Minister’s personal involvement, expressing concern that eligible individuals should not miss out on the advantages of government initiatives. Singh remarked, “Our prime minister is worried and concerned if anyone eligible is not getting benefited by the schemes. He used to ask us to ensure that schemes should reach the beneficiaries in our constituencies.”

Turning to the economic landscape, Rajnath Singh shared noteworthy statistics, pointing out that when Narendra Modi assumed office as Prime Minister, India held the 10th position in the global economy. However, under Modi’s leadership, the country has now ascended to the fifth position. Economists, according to Singh, attribute this growth to the charisma of Modi. He went on to predict a promising future, asserting that if the current trajectory continues, the Indian economy is poised to become one of the top three in the world by 2027 and the foremost global economy by 2047.
