Power Shifts Overnight to Protect the Powerful: Home Minister

Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane has raised concerns about the sudden shift in power dynamics, suggesting it aims to protect certain individuals. This statement came during an official meeting of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) on Tuesday.

Lamichhane expressed his views clearly, stating, “What happened overnight is clear; there’s no need to say more.” He highlighted the abrupt concern of major political parties for the constitution following the emergence of corruption cases.

“Are they trying to save the constitution, or who are they really trying to save? Can’t we understand that?” Lamichhane questioned, pointing out the underlying motives behind these actions.
