‘Prachanda settled India’s Desires, Nepal’s Desired Objectives Unmet’

CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has expressed his dissatisfaction with the outcomes of Prime Minister Prachanda’s recent visit to India.

In a Facebook post, Pokharel stated that Nepal reluctantly agreed to India’s terms during the visit, implying that the country had to compromise on its objectives.

According to Pokharel, Nepal’s desired address could not be met during Prime Minister Prachanda’s visit to India. The country was seemingly compelled to agree to what India wanted, indicating that it had to make concessions. However, despite the failure to achieve its objectives, the Nepalese government felt obligated to portray the visit as a success.

“In the context of visit to India, Nepal’s desired address could not be met. Nepal reluctantly agreed to what India wanted. However, the Nepalese government is compelled to say that the visit was a success!”, Leader Pokharel writes.”

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ is currently on a 4-day official visit to India.
