Preparations for SEE Examination Completed

The National Examinations Board, Office of the Controller of Examinations, has finalized all preparations for the upcoming Secondary Education Examination (SEE), set to commence nationwide on March 20.
According to Nandalal Paudel, Controller of Examinations for Grade 10, all necessary materials, including question papers, symbol numbers, and answer sheets, have been dispatched to every district.
This year, 514,071 students are expected to appear for the SEE, marking an increase of 49,286 from last year’s total of 464,785. The board has established 2,079 examination centers across the country. Each center with up to 150 students will have one assistant superintendent, while one invigilator will be assigned for every 20 students.
For out-of-school candidates, three special centers have been designated, including child correction centers and prisons. Arrangements have been made for students from two jails in Kathmandu and Dailekh, as well as a child care home in Bhaktapur, to sit for the exam.
The SEE will take place from March 20 to April 1, with exams scheduled daily from 8 AM to 11 AM.
