President Paudel Appoints Three Ministers of State, Allocates Portfolios
President Ramchandra Paudel has appointed three Ministers of State and allocated portfolios to them, in accordance with the Constitution of Nepal. The newly appointed ministers have been inducted into the existing Council of Ministers under the leadership of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
The Office of the President announced that Arun Kumar Chaudhary has been appointed as the Minister of State for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation; Rupa BK as the Minister of State for Forests and Environment; and Purna Bahadur Tamang as the Minister of State for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation.
The newly appointed ministers are scheduled to be sworn in today.
With these new appointments, the number of members in the current Council of Ministers has reached 25.
