President Ramchandra Paudel to Embark on Official Visits to Switzerland and Germany
President Ramchandra Paudel is set to depart for Geneva, Switzerland, to participate in the inaugural forum of the ‘Global Coalition for Social Justice’ during the 112th high-level session of the International Labor Conference.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President Paudel will address the inaugural forum of the Global Alliance for Social Justice on June 13. As part of his agenda in Geneva, he will engage in bilateral talks with Swiss Confederation President Viola Amherd on June 12.
Following his engagements in Switzerland, President Paudel is scheduled to depart for Berlin, Germany, on June 15. The President’s visit to Germany is at the invitation of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier. Formal talks between President Paudel and President Steinmeier are set for June 17.
President Paudel is accompanied by his wife, Savita Paudel. The official delegation includes the President’s Foreign Affairs Expert Dr. Suresh Chandra Chalise, secretaries from the Office of the President and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nepali Ambassadors to Switzerland and Germany, and senior officials from both the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The delegation will return to Nepal on June 19 after concluding the visit.
