Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has called for a meeting of the ruling alliance to deliberate on the outcomes of the recently concluded National Assembly (NA) election. The meeting, scheduled for this evening, is expected to analyze the overall performance of the alliance in the election.
According to information from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the ruling coalition demonstrated a strong and united front by securing victories in 18 out of the 19 contested seats during the NA election. This success has been a cause for celebration among the alliance members.
However, amidst the triumph, the ruling coalition faced a setback in Koshi Province. In this region, a candidate from CPN (Maoist Center) was defeated by the main opposition party, CPN-UML.
