Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli Inaugurates Five-Star Hotel ‘Lemon Tree Premier’ in Kathmandu
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today inaugurated the newly constructed five-star hotel, Lemon Tree Premier, located in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu. The hotel, built at a cost of Rs 2.50 billion, marks a significant addition to Nepal’s growing hospitality and tourism industry.
During the inauguration, PM Oli emphasized that the establishment of modern hotels like Lemon Tree Premier would play a crucial role in promoting tourism development in the country. He noted that Nepal, known for its natural beauty—from the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, to its rich peace heritage—has immense potential for tourism growth. The government, he added, is prioritizing infrastructure development to support this.
PM Oli also highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to streamline public services, ensuring that businesspeople can operate without unnecessary hindrances. “We are creating an environment where business ventures can flourish without obstacles,” he stated. The Prime Minister mentioned the introduction of new technology aimed at tracking and resolving delays in public service delivery, ensuring that entrepreneurs and investors receive prompt support.
He reassured the business community, saying, “You don’t need to worry—focus on providing the best service and hospitality to tourists. The government will continue to facilitate and support your efforts.”
