Prime Minister Prachanda Congratulates Narendra Modi on Lok Sabha Election Victory
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has extended his congratulations to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his victory in the Lok Sabha elections, marking Modi’s third consecutive term as Prime Minister.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Prime Minister Prachanda congratulated Modi and the BJP-led NDA alliance on their success. “Congratulations to Modiji for his third term. We are happy that the great democratic exercise of the world has been completed with the enthusiastic participation of the Indian people,” Prachanda stated.
The NDA alliance, under Modi’s leadership, secured a majority in the 18th Lok Sabha elections, with Modi winning from Varanasi for the third consecutive time. Indian media reported that Modi is likely to submit a claim for the formation of a new government soon.
Responding to Prachanda’s congratulations, Modi expressed his desire to further strengthen the friendship between Nepal and India. Sharing the post on social media platform X, Modi wrote, “Prime Minister Prachanda ji, thank you for your warm wishes. I look forward to your continued support in strengthening India-Nepal friendly relations.”
The exchange of felicitations highlights the mutual respect and commitment to fostering stronger bilateral ties between the neighboring countries.
