Prime Minister Prachanda Reaches New Delhi

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has landed in New Delhi to partake in the momentous swearing-in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, marking the beginning of his third term in office and Council of Ministers. His arrival was met with a warm welcome from P Kumaran, the Officer on Special Duty at the Ministry of External Affairs.

 

Scheduled for 6 pm today, the swearing-in ceremony is poised to formally inaugurate Modi’s new term as the head of the world’s largest democracy. Prime Minister Prachanda’s presence among other dignitaries underscores the importance of regional cooperation and diplomacy.

During his stay in India’s capital, Prime Minister Prachanda is expected to engage in bilateral discussions aimed at bolstering the enduring ties between Nepal and India. A crucial meeting with Prime Minister Modi has been confirmed by the Embassy of Nepal in New Delhi, slated to take place following the official swearing-in ceremony.

Prime Minister Prachanda’s visit to India, though brief, holds significance in furthering the collaborative efforts between the two neighboring nations. He is set to return to Nepal tomorrow, wrapping up his impactful sojourn to India.
