Prime Minister’s Challenge to Congress and UML: Cooperate, Prachanda is Not Afraid!
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has stated that if all other parties agree and stand together, the Maoist party is prepared to remain in the opposition and advocate for the strengthening of nationalism.
Addressing today’s session of the House of Representatives, Prime Minister Prachanda, after submitting the proposal for a vote of confidence, responded to the questions raised during the discussion on the proposal. He asserted that he would not be deterred if the major parties unite.
“What will happen if the major parties unite against you? This has been said before, and it is being said again today. I wish for your unity. If you all come together, the Maoist center will remain in the primary opposition and strive for the welfare of the country and its citizens, for the constitution, for the reinforcement of nationalism. Do you thin that Prachanda would be scared by this?” he remarked.
