Prime Ministers Prachanda and Modi Discuss Strengthening Nepal-India Relations
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda,’ currently on an official visit to India, met with his counterpart, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday evening.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Prachanda congratulated Prime Minister Modi on assuming office for the third consecutive term. He expressed his confidence that the relationship between Nepal and India would reach new heights during Modi’s third term.
The leaders discussed mutual relations and various issues of bilateral interest, focusing on the implementation of past agreements and commitments.
Prime Minister Prachanda attended Prime Minister Modi’s swearing-in ceremony on Sunday evening. He left for New Delhi earlier that day, accompanied by his daughter-in-law Ganga Dahal, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Padam Giri, Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal, and other high-ranking government officials.
Prime Minister Prachanda is scheduled to return to Nepal this evening.
