Former Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane didn’t mince words as he took Home Minister Narayankaji Shrestha to task during a meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee at Singha Durbar. Lamichhane, also the Chairman of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), unleashed a barrage of probing questions aimed at Shrestha, putting him under intense scrutiny.
The focus of Lamichhane’s interrogation was the failure to apprehend individuals involved in the fake Bhutanese refugee case. Specifically, he pointed out the involvement of the sons of CPN-UML Vice Chairman Ram Bahadur Thapa Badal and security expert Indrajit Rai.
