RSP Gathers in Jaleshwar for Strategic Meeting

The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has initiated a joint meeting involving its parliamentary party and central committee members in Jaleshwar, Mahottari. The meeting, scheduled to continue until Wednesday, focuses on formulating the party’s long-term policies and intensifying efforts in the Madhes districts.

Deputy Chairman Dol Prasad (DP) Aryal confirmed the launch of discussions, emphasizing the regional significance of the gathering. Both the central committee and parliamentarians are actively participating in this regional initiative.

The agenda includes presentations by the Central Discipline Commission, Central Accounts Commission, and political reports from various provinces. Meticulous evaluations of the party’s financial status and parliamentary activities are also on the docket.

General Secretary Mukul Dhakal highlighted the forthcoming party conventions, indicating that discussions will revolve around methods and systems during this gathering. He assured that the assembly would outline the party’s roadmap and policy directives.

A pivotal aspect of the ongoing sessions is the deliberation on a political document crafted by a three-member working group led by General Secretary Dhakal. This document, shaped through discussions and feedback collection from district representatives and MPs, is the focal point of the meeting. The party had earlier delegated central members and MPs to gather public opinions during a three-day consultation phase in designated districts.

In a recent intellectually stimulating session in Kathmandu, the RSP leadership underscored the expansion of discussions on the document as the driving force behind convening this joint meeting in Madhes. The assembly aims to solidify the party’s stance and strategies, setting the stage for future political endeavors.
