RSP President Heads to India, Wagle Assumes Acting Presidency

Rabi Lamichhane, the President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, the fourth-largest national party in the lower house, has traveled to India. President Lamichhane, accompanied by the party’s Vice-president Dol Prasad Aryal, departed for India this morning (Saturday).

They are set to participate in a program organized by Nepali well-wishers in India. Today and tomorrow (Sunday), they will be actively involved in the events scheduled in India.

Meanwhile, the party’s other Vice-president, Swarnim Wagle, has assumed the role of Acting President. Wagle will fulfill this responsibility until President Lamichhane returns to Nepal from India.
