22-year-old leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has created history by becoming the fastest bowler to grab 100 ODI wickets.
Lamichhane completes his 100th wicket in ODIs and becomes the fastest ever to get this in just 42 matches, the previous record was of Rashid Khan (44 Matches).
He achieved this feat in his 42nd game in ACC Men’s Premier Cup match vs Oman.
Lamichhane played his debut ODI match in August 2018 against the Netherlands, in Nepal’s first-ever ODI match. He picked up one wicket in that match.
Since then, he has become an integral part of the team’s bowling lineup and has recorded three five-wicket hauls and eight four-wicket hauls.
