
Sandeep Lamichhane Withdraws from T20I Triangular Series Amidst Emotional Struggles


Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane has decided to withdraw from the upcoming T20I Triangular Series involving Nepal, UAE, and Hong Kong. The series, organized by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), is set to take place from October 18 to October 27 and is intended to serve as a preparation event for the T20 World Cup Asia Qualifiers commencing on October 29 in Nepal.
Lamichhane shared his decision on social media, citing emotional challenges as the reason for his withdrawal. He expressed that he needs time for himself during this period.
It’s worth noting that Sandeep Lamichhane currently faces a pending court case at the Kathmandu District Court, where he is accused of a serious crime involving a minor. He is currently out on bail, and the case remains unresolved.
