Senior SSP Pokharel Takes Helm as Security Chief at TIA

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Krishna Hari Sharma Pokharel has assumed the role of security chief at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). This appointment comes as Deputy Inspector General of Police Arjun Chand was transferred to the Provincial Coordination Department at Police Headquarters, according to Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Bhim Prasad Dhakal, the Central Spokesperson of Nepal Police.
The transition also saw Senior SSP Deep Shamsher Jung Bahadur Rana, who previously served at TIA, being transferred to the National Police Academy. SSP Pokharel, who was previously stationed at the Bagmati Province Police Training Center in Dudhauli, Sindhuli, now takes over the crucial role at the TIA Security Office.
