Storm Forecasted in Koshi and Madhes Provinces

The country is currently experiencing the partial influence of a westerly low-pressure system and local winds, affecting weather patterns across various regions.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the hilly areas will see partly to generally cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies. Light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected in some areas of the hilly region, as well as isolated parts of the Sudurpashchim and Karnali provinces.

In the high hills and mountainous regions of these provinces, light snowfall is likely in multiple locations, with occasional snowfall in other elevated areas.

With the possibility of storms in parts of Koshi and Madhes provinces, the Division has advised residents to take necessary precautions to ensure their safety.
