Suresh Adhikari Appointed HoR Secretary

Suresh Adhikari has been appointed as the secretary of the House of Representatives today.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire’s recommendation was approved by President Ramchandra Paudel. Speaker Ghimire recommended Adhikari’s name to President for appointment as per Article 106 of the Constitution and Section 3 of the Act on Remuneration, Conditions of Service and Facilities of General Secretary of Federal Parliament and Secretaries of House of Representatives and National Assembly.

Adhikari, who hails from Khandbari Municipality-2 of Sankhuwasabha district, retired from government secretary a few months ago.

The position became vacant after Padma Prasad Pandey, then secretary, was appointed general secretary of the Federal Parliament on February 6.
