We are excited to play well and give gifts to our supporters.”

Paudel highlighted the team’s readiness and the support they have received in America. “Everyone is with us. We will bring happiness by playing the best cricket. Nepal has support in America. By playing well, we will attract everyone’s attention. Now, we have to send a message that we are also capable by defeating the Test-recognized teams,” he added.

Monty Desai, the head coach of the Nepali national cricket team, also shared his insights, focusing on the team’s preparations and strategies. “We are concentrating and practicing for the first match. Nepal is now ready to play in the World Cup in every way,” Desai said. He mentioned that the team arrived in the host countries a month in advance to acclimate to the conditions and continue their practice sessions.

“Some preparations have to be made in the new place. That’s why we tried to come here about a month ago. We are now ready for the game in two different countries,” Desai explained. He also stressed the importance of excellence in both batting and bowling, mentioning key players. “Dipendra Singh Airi is now ready in every way. The role of spinner bowlers is very important, and we have Lalit and Sagar for that. It has made our team balanced,” he noted.

Coach Desai confirmed that Dipendra Singh Airi is fully fit and reiterated that the Nepali team is well-balanced and prepared for the challenges ahead.

The T20 World Cup is set to start on June 2 in the United States and the West Indies. Nepal’s first match will be against the Netherlands on June 4. The team and its supporters are hopeful for a strong performance, aiming to make a significant impact on the international cricket scene.
