Telemedicine service for Nepali migrant workers begins
The Foreign Employment Board has started telemedicine service for Nepali migrant workers in different countries.
The telemedicine service has been started with a team of doctors to address the health problems of Nepali workers in foreign employment. The service will be provided during office hours except on public holidays, the FEB has said.
In order to benefit from the service, the Nepali migrant workers can contact through mobile numbers 9851-345701 and 9851-345702 through Viber, WhatsApp or IMO and other means to discuss about their health-related problems.
If the sick workers need more specialist services it will also be provided every Sunday and Friday on the recommendation of the medical officer concerned. As Sunday and Friday are public holidays in most of the destination countries, expert services will be provided on this day, the FEB said.
