Three School Girls Reported Missing in Pokhara, Urgent Search Underway

In a distressing incident that has sent shockwaves through the community, three schoolgirls have been reported missing in Pokhara since yesterday. The disappearance of these young girls has sparked a joint effort by authorities and concerned citizens to locate them and ensure their safety.

The trio, identified as Manika Pariyar (14), Alisha Pariyar (13), and Radhika Pariyar (14), all residents of Bindhyabasini in Pokhara Metropolitan City-2, were last seen in their school uniforms as they left for school on Monday. However, they neither reached school nor returned home, leaving their anxious parents deeply concerned.

Parents of the missing girls have issued a heartfelt plea for cooperation from the public and relevant authorities to aid in their safe recovery. The situation has prompted the District Police Office in Kaski to launch an intensive search operation to locate the missing girls and provide reassurance to their distraught families.

Radhika and Manika were enrolled at Rastriya Secondary School, while Alisha was a student at Barpatan Secondary School. The District Police Office confirmed that, despite brief phone conversations between the parents and Radhika and Manika, the whereabouts and well-being of the girls remain unclear.

Shravan Kumar BK, Information Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, stated that a proactive search is underway, with law enforcement officers working diligently to trace the path the girls may have taken. The parents have also taken the initiative to formally report the disappearance to the Police Office, amplifying the collaborative efforts to locate the missing students.
