Tiger Found Dead in Nawalpur: Investigations Underway
A somber discovery shook the residents of Madhya Bindu in Nawalparasi (Bardghat-Susta East) as the lifeless body of a male tiger was found in the forest near the road to Arunkhola of ward no. 10 of Madhya Bindu municipality on Friday.
According to DSP Bed Bahadur Paudal, Information Officer at the District Police Office, a joint team comprising police personnel and officials from the Division Forest Office Kawasoti rushed to the scene following the report of the tiger’s demise. Preliminary investigations suggest that the tiger had likely perished approximately 10 to 15 days ago, raising concerns about the circumstances surrounding its death.
Arjun Sapkota, Forest Officer at the Division Forest Office, affirmed that a comprehensive investigation has been launched, with a specialized team, including veterinarians, deployed to ascertain the cause of the wild animal’s untimely demise.
