Torrential rain inundates Jaleshwor

Jaleshwor, the district headquarters of Mahottari, has been inundated due to torrential rain that lasted half an hour today. The rainfall occurred from 10.30 to 11.00 am.
Many roads and office areas in the city have been flooded. All roads leading to the District Court, the District Police Office, the Prison, the District Administration Office, the District Land Revenue Office and the Jaleshwar Municipality are inundated while the office premises of several offices have been waterlogged.
Traffic on the street and service at government and non-government offices have been affected, said the police, adding that excavator and a dozer have been deployed at various places to drain out the pool of water.
