Tragic Gas Leak Incident Claims Life in Phulbari, Chitwan

A 50-year-old man lost his life due to a cooking gas leak from a cylinder in Phulbari, western Chitwan. The victim, identified as Manish Thapa, was a resident of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-15, Deurichok.

The unfortunate incident took place on Monday when Thapa was preparing a meal in his room. According to DSP Shreeram Bhandari of the District Police Office, Chitwan, the fatal gas leakage occurred within the premises of the local Abinash Fertilizer Company.

Emergency services were immediately notified, and Thapa was rushed to the hospital, but he could not be saved. The exact cause of the gas leak and the circumstances surrounding the incident are currently under investigation.

Local authorities and the police are working together to ascertain the details of the tragedy. DSP Bhandari stated that the investigation is ongoing, and further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
