Truck-Scooter Accident Claims Life in Koteshwar

Tragedy struck in Koteshwar, Kathmandu, on Friday as a collision between a truck and a scooter resulted in the loss of a life. The incident occurred when a Ba 3 Ka 3053 tipper truck, traveling towards Jadibuti from Koteshwar, collided with a Bagmati Province 02-039 Pa 9952 scooter heading in the same direction.

Kathmandu Police reported that the crash took place in the early afternoon, causing severe damage to the scooter and fatally injuring its rider. The victim, identified as a local resident, succumbed to injuries at the scene before emergency services could arrive.

In response to the incident, authorities swiftly apprehended the tipper truck driver, Sombahadur Tamang, for further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision. The police have launched an inquiry to determine the exact cause of the accident.
