Two foreign nationals held for alleged possession of cocaine

The Narcotics Control Bureau of Nepal Police has arrested two foreign nationals with 1 kg 80 grams of drug cocaine. Nepal Police informed about this in a press conference on Thursday.

The apprehended are Rabindra Kumar Parasar (51) of Aligadh, Uttar Pradesh and Kenyan national Pilisina Wanza (63).

Parasar had concealed 1. 80 kg cocaine in a lady’s bag by making a false bottom and was apprehended from a hotel in Thamel.

Wanza was detained from another hotel in Thamel with USD 1,000.

Lately, police have become active to prevent Nepal from becoming a transit hub of drugs.

Further investigation of the case is going on.
