Uddhav Thapa Appointed Again as Koshi Provincial Chief Minister

Koshi provincial head Parshuram Khapung has announced the appointment of Uddhav Thapa as the new Chief Minister of the province.

The decision was made on Thursday following the submission of a claim by Thapa, the parliamentary party leader of the Nepali Congress.

On Tuesday at 4:45 pm, Uddhav Thapa presented his claim to the provincial chief, providing evidence of the support of 47 members of the provincial assembly. This backing came from various parties, including the Nepali Congress, Maoist Center, Unified Socialist Party, and Janata Samajwadi Party.
