UML Decides Against Immediate Ministerial Recall

The CPN-UML has decided not to immediately recall its ministers from the government. In a Tuesday meeting of the UML secretariat, it was decided that the party’s ministers currently in the government will remain in their positions for the time being.

Following the meeting, UML Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali stated that the ministers would not be called back right away.

Additionally, the UML has requested Prime Minister Prachanda to resign by Wednesday. The party has also urged all political parties to participate in forming a new government.

Recently, the UML has formed an alliance with the Nepali Congress, aiming to establish a new government. This alliance is positioning Chairman KP Oli as a potential Prime Minister candidate. NC President Deuba and UML Chairman Oli have been in regular discussions for several days to solidify this alliance.
