UML Kathmandu to hold programme focused on youth

The CPN UML Kathmandu district committee has decided to hold a programme focused on youths- youth festival- at Tundikhel, Kathmandu on February 3.

The festival is being held under the theme of ‘youth leadership for social change’.

The Kathmandu committee of the party informed that such festival would be organized in other districts as well. Information to this was shared at a press meet organized here on Thursday.

UML’s politburo member Anand Pokhrel informed that the event was organized to make youths aware on use and misuse of technology in the wake of globalization.

Similarly, another leader Dipak Niraula, said youths’ role could be bolstered for strengthening federal democratic republic.
