UML’s Daman Bahadur Bhandari Wins Provincial Assembly Seat in Bajhang

UML candidate Daman Bahadur Bhandari emerged victorious in the race for the Provincial Assembly seat from Bajhang 1, defeating his closest rival by a narrow margin. Bhandari secured 11,612 votes, edging out Nepali Congress’s Abhishek Bahadur Singh, who received 11,346 votes.

Other contenders in the race included CPN (Maoist Centre)’s Janak Bahadur Budha, who gathered 3,831 votes, and Unified Socialists’s Dil Bahadur Singh, who garnered 2,514 votes. Bhandari’s win marks a significant moment for the UML in the province.
