Vehicle Carrying Lumbini Province’s Economic Affairs Minister Involved in Accident

A vehicle carrying Lumbini Province’s Economic Affairs Minister, Dhan Bahadur Maskey, was involved in an accident on Monday. The accident occurred while the minister was returning to Deukhuri after attending an event in Tulsipur, Dang.

The vehicle, identified as Lu 1 Jha 738, had five occupants, including Minister Maskey. The accident transpired when a child suddenly appeared on the road, catching everyone off guard. Shambhu Gautam, the minister’s personal secretary, was driving and attempted to swerve to avoid the child. Unfortunately, the vehicle veered off the road and came to rest in a ditch.

Fortunately, reports indicate that all five passengers, including Minister Maskey, sustained only minor injuries. Remarkably, the vehicle itself did not suffer any significant damage and came to a stop in a nearby thicket. Authorities are investigating the incident, and the minister’s well-being remains a priority.
