Weather Expected to Stay Mostly Fair Across Nepal

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecast fair weather for most parts of the country today, with partly to generally cloudy conditions expected in hilly regions.

The current weather is influenced by a westerly low-pressure system and westerly winds. This afternoon, the mountainous areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces may see partly cloudy skies, while the hilly regions will experience similar conditions.

Light snowfall is expected at one or two locations in the high hills and mountainous areas of Gandaki Province. Tonight, snowfall may occur at a few spots in the high hilly and mountainous regions across the country.

The Department has also advised caution against possible foggy conditions in parts of the Terai and Kathmandu Valley on Friday morning, urging the public to take necessary safety measures.
