What Happens If Rain Interrupts the India vs Pakistan Match?

The date for this monumental clash is set for tomorrow, September 2, and it’s already sending shockwaves through the cricketing world.

The weather forecast for the match day is not promising at all. As per reports, as many as three spells of rain are forecasted for the game. If rain affects the first innings, then the match will entirely be abandoned. If rain kicks in 20 overs after the 2nd innings has been bowled, the winner will be decided through the Duckworth-Lewis system. And in case, the game is called off, both India and Pakistan will share a point each. A point for Pakistan will secure their passage to the Super 4 while India will have to win against Nepal to progress to the next round.
