Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Vaishali Takkar dies by suicide

Popular television actor Vaishali Takkar (30), died by suicide on Sunday.

Known for playing pivotal roles in shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Sasural Simar Ka, Vaishali had been living with her parents in her hometown since last year.

According to reports, Vaishali was found hanging at her home in Indore. A suicide note has also recovered from the spot.

Police reached her place and recovered the dead body.

According to News reports, the reason behind the actress taking the drastic step is said to be a love affair.

For the unversed, Vaishali in April last year informed her fans that she was engaged to Dr. Abhinandan Singh, a surgeon from Kenya, and shared her Roka ceremony video on Instagram.

But later, Vaishali revealed that she will not tie the nuptial knot with Abhinandan and subsequently removed the video of her Roka ceremony from her social media handle.

Meanwhile, a case has been registered in Tejaji Nagar police station. Notably, Vaishali was living in Indore since last year.

Vaishali who debuted in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,’ has appeared in many shows like Super Sisters, Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara, and Manmohini 2. She was last seen in the TV show Rakshabandhan in the role of Kanak Singhsaal Singh Thakur.
