16 DIGs of Nepal Police Transferred

In a recent development, the Ministry of Home Affairs has undertaken a significant reshuffling within the Nepal Police force. A total of 16 Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) have been transferred, affecting all provincial police chiefs in the process.

Among the notable transfers, DIG Chandra Kuber Khapung is now assigned to Koshi Province, while Yagya Binod Pokharel takes charge in Madhesh Province. Bishnu Kumar KC moves to Bagmati Province, and Bikash Raj Khanal assumes responsibilities in Gandaki Province. Kuber Kadayat is now posted in Lumbini Province, Lalmani Acharya in Karnali Province, and Rabindra KC in Sudurpachim Province.

Additionally, DIG Surendra Mainali has been reassigned to the Bharatpur Training Centre. The reshuffling aims to bring about strategic changes and optimize the leadership structure within the Nepal Police force.
