3 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Kathmandu

A minor earthquake with a magnitude of 3 on the Richter scale rattled Kathmandu on Tuesday evening. The tremor was reported to have occurred at around 5 pm local time.

The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center situated in Lainchaur identified the epicenter of the earthquake, which was located in Sundhara within the district. Fortunately, there have been no immediate reports of significant damage or casualties.

Authorities are advising residents to remain vigilant and be prepared for potential aftershocks, although no major aftershocks have been reported so far. Further updates on the situation will be provided as they become available.
