Madhav Kumar Nepal leaves for Sri Lanka

CPN (Unified Socialist) Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal has left for Sri Lanka today.
He left for Sri Lanka in connection with participating in a conference to be organized there on the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Sri Lankan Communist Party. While in Sri Lanka, the former Prime Minister will also attend the meeting of South Asian Communist Parties and Leftist Parties to be held there, said Dilu Panta, the CPN (Unified Socialist) Politburo member.
Party Vice-Chair Rajendra Prasad Pandey has been assigned the responsibility of Acting Chair of the party during party Chair Nepal’s absence, party’s deputy general-secretary and office secretary Dr Gangalal Tuladhar said.
